Where a chapter is new or has been amended it will be marked as such on the contents.
If a procedure is significantly amended, the amendment will be summarised at the top of the document.3. Local Resources
This manual contains a local resource section which can be accessed via the navigation bar. This library is populated and maintained locally. If there is a resource that you think should be added talk in the first instance to your manager.

Glossary and National Contacts
There may be terms in the procedures which users are not familiar with; therefore, a glossary of definitions is available from resources button at the top of the page.
This glossary is a live online resource, containing key definitions for social care practitioners. It's a free resource powered and kept up to date by tri.x.
There is also a National Contacts resource populated with details of key national agencies and organisations likely to be relevant to procedures user.
Search Function
We have provided a search function, available from the search button in the top right hand corner of the screen. This will enable you to search for Chapter/Procedure titles and sub-sections within chapters.
